About the Thor Diesel Club
Formed in October 2010 — a full international chapter of the FRVA.
The Thor Diesel Club (TDC) was founded in October 2010 to bring together owners of Thor Motor Coach diesel-powered motorhomes and create a community built around friendship, shared experiences, and the RV lifestyle.
Working in cooperation with Thor Motor Coach, the club held its first International Rally at the Elkhart County Fairgrounds in Elkhart, Indiana. During that inaugural rally, members elected the club’s first Board of Directors to serve a two-year term, establishing the foundation for the organization we have today.
The Thor Diesel Club subsequently applied for affiliation with the Family Motor Coach Association (FMCA) and was accepted as a full International Chapter. On August 14, 2024, FMCA announced its rebranding as the Family RV Association (FRVA), and the Thor Diesel Club continues its affiliation under the FRVA name.
Today, the Thor Diesel Club is a thriving and growing community. Our rallies give members opportunities to travel, reconnect with longtime friends, welcome new members, exchange knowledge about their coaches, and enjoy the camaraderie that makes RVing such a unique lifestyle.
As we continue to grow, the Thor Diesel Club remains committed to supporting our members, strengthening our RV community, maintaining our relationship with Thor Motor Coach, and supporting the Family RV Association.
More than simply a motorhome club, Thor Diesel Club is a community of RVers brought together by our coaches and kept together by the friendships we make along the way.
